Stroke Recovery & Rehabilitation -
It Takes a Village

Stroke recovery and rehabilitation thrive on collaboration—it's not just about medical and rehab professionals working together, but also the support of those surrounding the stroke survivor and caregiver. Family, friends, colleagues, community members, even strangers yet to be met—all can play a vital role in the journey. The extent of recovery often depends on the willingness of people to step up and offer support. It truly takes a village, and that’s the foundation of our website. Far too often no one even thinks about that or even realizes that.  Far too often no one has opportunity to read about, hear about, understand, the importance of having "the Village" "SHOW UP!"   And so, ... having this all-important adage prominently stated in prose within our Stroke Caregiver Support website, is at least a start toward potential "villagers" actually becoming "villagers" by "SHOWING UP" for the Stroke Survivor, and their Caregiver.
